After 40 years of nursing across the full spectrum of care—from Newborn Nursery to Hospice—Yvonne Miller-Secreto, RN, recognized a recurring truth: many families experience critical gaps in support during life’s most vulnerable moments. This insight sparked her mission to bring compassionate, holistic wellness into people’s lives directly.
The Wellness Galaxy was born from this vision—a collective of medical and holistic professionals who believe healing should be accessible, personal, and empowering. Our goal is to help cultivate “a healer in every home.” Through mobile health fairs, affiliate clinics, workshops, online courses, and books, we teach individuals how to integrate holistic tools confidently into daily life.
We empower people to participate in their healing by demystifying health and offering practical, soul-centered support. With the right tools and guidance, everyday environments can become healing spaces, reducing stress and fostering peace at home.
Our work supports all stages of life—from childhood and adulthood to elder care and end-of-life. Whether you’re caring for yourself or a loved one, we help transform difficult transitions into moments of clarity and connection.
One of our core offerings is the Spectrum Wellness Doula program, where trained non-medical professionals provide emotional, cultural, and spiritual support during significant life events. These doulas bridge the gap between clinical care and personal healing.
We’re also committed to community-centered wellness. From childbirth to eldercare, no one should face these moments alone. Our approach ensures individuals and families feel supported, informed, and connected.

Yvonne Secreto, R.N.
Yvonne Miller-Secreto, RN, brings together a powerful combination of healthcare education, business acumen, and lived experience. As a Nurse Entrepreneur, Author, and CEO/Founder of Health Awareness Educational Products and Services LLC, she created TheWellnessGalaxy.com™ and AdvancingHealthAwareness.com. These platforms unite doctors, nurses, and wellness experts to merge the latest wellness technology with whole-body healing, making health education more engaging, accessible, and relevant. Through The Wellness Galaxy, she offers Mini Mobile Health Fairs for homes and communities, providing cutting-edge services, interactive wellness education, and certification programs. In Fall 2025, Advancing Health Awareness will launch a new initiative to offer per-diem and consulting opportunities for MDs, NPs, RNs, MSWs, LPNs, and Doula-Para professionals, focused on home-care counseling and holistic medical support across communities.
Yvonne holds a degree in health care administration from CCNY/CU and has business certifications from Hofstra University’s Entrepreneur Program and Columbia University’s Non-Profit Business Certification Program. With over 40 years of experience as a clinical registered nurse, she has worked with diverse patient populations in multiple care settings, blending compassion with strategy in every role. Her professional affiliations include the Holistic Nurses Association and the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, reflecting her lifelong commitment to integrative wellness and advancing health equity through innovation and education.

Cheryl Lowry has been a registered nurse for 40+ years, a holistic RN for 25+ years, and has experience in home health, medical surgery, and psychiatric nursing. A holistic practitioner with expertise in Reiki, reflexology, ear candling, flower essences, MAP and calibration readings, hypnotherapy, past life regression
Shoadire Emily Sheppard

It all started with Shoadire becoming a Reiki Master in 1996. Over the years, she has expanded her studies and provided healing energy services to people and their home/business environments. She is certified in several energy healing modalities. She journeyed, transforming her vocation from an educator with an MS ED to an energy healer, energy teacher, and speaker sharing several healing modalities.
Stephanie Christian

Stephanie is a certified Usui Reiki master and teacher. She is also an Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor and an Essential Oil Specialist; as an Aromachologist she uses essential oils to explore the correspondence between smell, human emotions, and the human body. After working over 20 years in the corporate world, Stephanie likes to support others with stress reduction by diving within to achieve a deeper connection with mind, body, heart, and soul.

Crystal Jackson-Thomas

Crystal Jackson-Thomas is a budding energy healing practitioner. She focuses her work on using reiki on healing ancestral patterns, soul stories existing in the individual's akashic presence, systemizing use of the Ho’opono prayer for soul maintenance. She also works with the elementals (including crystals, tree spirits, ocean energy) to elevate spirits who are ready to move from 4D to a place of power in 5D and to fortify communication with ancestral and soul lineage.

Dr. Pierre Aurelien has enjoyed a distinguished career as a preeminent and innovative doctor in the field of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and chiropractic treatments. He was one of the few practitioners in the U.S. to be awarded duel Doctoral degrees for Acupuncture and Oriental medicine. He has also completed courses towards a Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Dr. Aurelien was one of the acupuncturists selected to participate in the ground-breaking detox program at Lincoln Hospital in NYC during the heroin epidemic of the 1970's. He is a certified NADA trainer and has developed his own modified 5-point acupuncture protocol to treat addiction, chemical dependency and mental illness.
